I spent way more time than I would like to admit on the NBA subreddit when this was posted Fighting with morons

This whole thing is being taken completely out of context and spun to make it sound like he’s saying after playing in the summer league he thinks euroleague is tougher, and by proxy better

But in the same quote he praises summer league play and the NBA noticing and noting how much quicker, more athletic, and more skilled the play is

While simply noting that in europe, it’s slower, it’s more congested, and they’re allowed to foul more

Anyone who thinks the NBA is going to be more physical than the French League, usually considered the most physical league in Europe, is frankly wrong

Yes, watching him this past year in France it was wild how much contact the defense was able to get away with down low. So many times I would think to myself if this was an NBA game heā€™d have 20pts just off free throws šŸ’€

Not the first person to say it, but he hasn’t played a real NBA game yet. If anything, he’ll have an even bigger target on his back for such statements. Let’s see how he takes a Draymond stomp to the chest

It’s just reaction fishing. Kinda fucked up but the media is all like this nowadays.

Luka said this too. Euro refs let players play all the way through, way less fouls

Anyone who watched just his playoff run alone knows how different the physicality is in Europe. This dude would straight get pushed to the ground in the playoffs. Itā€™s not that the nba isnā€™t, itā€™s that euro ainā€™t no pussy shit. You wanna succeed over there you play hard. No one cares who you are and Vic was definitely tested out there by his opponents on if he was tough or not. The nba is definitely more suited for him in that aspect .
