  1. He can shoot and can defend. His shooting form is good as well. Good height. He can be an elite player. He has the tools.

  2. This kid is Smarter than I expected. That was a really mature thoughtful response to the question of how they were able to rally and come back from being behind 10 plus points and pull out a win. Impressive but he still has a long way to go before he is truly an asset to the team…!!!!

  3. Yea he looks good but remember this is summer league … y’all thought Carson edwards was gonna be nice in the league now he’s not even on a team

  4. I love him already, great fit for the C's. He plays with passion and effort, you can't ignore ❀

  5. Walsh looks scrappy, smart, and versatile. Excited to see if he can make a name for himself in the league!

  6. Seeing signs of a "steal of the draft" with this guy. Drafted for his ideal NBA body and energy. Drafted low because of "not quite ready" offensive game. By summer league he's already showing noticeable improvement in that area. Not to get too nuts but reminds of Jaylen Brown in that way.

  7. 37 players were drafted before him. I understand it’s the summer league…but considering he’s a second round pick I think his overall upside is wild

pros and possibilities weighing out his cons heavily. Brad might be on to something.

If his deep shot can stay consistent and can not foul out he passes the eye test clearly i believe.

He looks as if he has the tools that could truly carve a role in the league on this Celtics team.

    *Wingspan
    *motor
    *defensive mindset
    *age (19)
    *body frame
    *toughness

Defensive wise I’m excited that his 6 foot 7 7-2 wingspan visually shows that he has a body frame that looks like it could add some muscle overtime in hopes off guarding different positions.

He has a high motor and isn’t afraid of contact or fighting for a loose ball. He looks active and aware on the court.

His intensity excitement and passion when he flexes after locking someone down for a block, steal, jump ball etc shows that he’s mentally out there trying to prove a point.

He was one of the most highly scouted kids coming out of high school. He’s athletic and confident.

I asked Arkansas fans and they told me his shot fell off so his stock dropped in the draft but they also said they had a stacked team offensively anyway.

Because of this he was used heavily as a role in defense in which they said he was a big factor on going fairly deep in the March Madness tournament.

In that tournament he managed to play his role on defense in helping Arkansas knock out #1 Kansas.

Arkansas fans told me that considering he was a second round pick that if he can stay consistent with his 3 point shot and work on not getting fouls

That he could truly become a solid NBA player overtime when he eventually gets some reps and experience in the league.

Once again I do understand that it’s the summer league but I’d be lying to you if I said I wasn’t excited about him.

the possible come up and growth of this 19 year old hard headed flys on dog shit defender to get a role on our Celtics excites me.

Defensive wise alone he’s got the tools man. They better hope he doesn’t stay consistent with that 3pt shot.

He’s got big hearted 3&D player written all over him. I’m very excited that Brad Managed to draft Jordan Walsh at pick 38 in the second round. I think He’s got potential man.

    LETS GO CELTICS ☘️
