I would assuming that herros trade value is greater than one FRP. Because we won’t use all of our draft picks anyways, they will be used for trades at some point.

Even with that contract, I believe that Herro is worth more than 1 FRP. That being said, I am not sure where he fits without stunting the growth of someone like Cason or instantly pissing off Micic and hurting our overseas connections.
If I was another team, I would love Herro for a FRP, but for us I would rather keep the flexibility that we have and continue to develop.

Herro in isolation is probably worth a lottery protected pick However, any trade involving Herro isn’t just a player for a pick; the receiving team would have to send out a minimum of $21.52M in salary. There aren’t many teams that have that much salary not attached to useful players, and even fewer that would be willing to attach a pick to those salaries to get Herro. Maybe the Magic trade Gary Harris, Chuma Okeke, MCW and Admiral Scofield plus Denver’s 2025 pick for Herro? Maybe Brooklyn is willing to dump Ben Simmons? The Bulls give up on Lonzo Ball? There aren’t a lot of options out there.
