[@bballbreakdown] Wemby and Sochan might be the best defensive duo by the end of next season. The versatility is crazy, being able to guard 1–5 at their size and age. Playing Wemby at SF makes a lot of sense.
Amazing breakdown of Victor Wembanyama's Summer League performance
My biggest takeaways:
1. Spurs should ease up on letting Wemby setting a million screens a game.
2. Wemby should focus less on locating his man to box out on missed shots and more on going after the rebound and… pic.twitter.com/4s4S9xt2pJ— Spurs Culture (@SpursCulture) July 13, 2023

Hot take, but I’m here for it
I want the Tre/Devin/Wemby/Sochan/Collins lineup. Hell, I’ll take Keldon over Tre if Pop wants to go Point Sochan. I want to see us with all that size, length, and switchability.
When Zach Collins is your plodding big, that’s a good problem to have.
This is sorta why I’m bummed out Wemby is gonna play the 4 and not the 5. I understand it’s to help preserve Wemby, but I think Sochan is a natural 4 and Keldon a 3.
I have no doubts Wemby and Collins can coexist tho.
