  1. I actually think LaRavia has been excellent all summer league. The shot wasn't falling but two main things:

    1) his shot selection was not bad imo and with the small sample size that's okay, great shooters go through cold streaks all the time, we've seen it each season with Bane. Jake has shot the ball well in the G-League.

    2) I guess because of the combination of him being extremely white and the nature of makes, makes it seem as if he was a great shooting prospect when that really was not true. Even in his last season of college, he attempted only 2.6 attempts from 3 per 40minutes. This is surprisingly the first time he's shooting off motion and what not.

Jake's true value was as a swiss army knife which he's shown in SL, he got to the line a ton in college and that's translated to SL, he's actually been getting to the paint using his improved handle and his defense has been great (all the Grizzlies, except GG notably, have been good on that end) both team and, to a lesser extent, individual.

Roddy on the other hand…has been disappointing. I've liked that despite his obvious frustration, he hasn't let that turn into tunnel vision, he's been a good playmaker in terms of swinging the ball and kicking it out. His perimeter defense and lateral movement at his size is still pretty good. And he's finally making a concerted effort to drive the ball. That's just about it on the positive sides imo. Everything else, from his handle to bad transition d to the finishing, has been bad. SL should be built for people like him
