It's totally normal for fans to get hyped when their favorite stars are shining bright and then get BS-ed once they hit some rough patches. It's like a mix of fan nature and the media's spin. After all, the NBA is all about show business, and we can't escape the external factors that come along with the game itself. It's just how the game goes!
I have always believed from watching him high school that this kid could be great. He just has to believe himself and do what the greats has done. Zion must take care of his body and add to his skill set.

On one hand it seemed like everyone was saying this same stuff about Zion last year so it’s tough to believe but on the other hand I really do believe Zion has realized that he needs to put in some more work to stay healthy and on the court

Hawkins is the average rookie. He will have more bad shooting games than good, but that can be worked on before he is possibly added to the team.
