Tim Hardaway Jr. has been an integral part of the Dallas Mavericks since coming over from the New York Knicks in the Kristaps Porzingis trade, but he be on his way out of Dallas? Mavs owner Mark Cuban addressed the latest Mavericks trade rumors on Sirius XM NBA Radio, saying that THJ would be back in Dallas this season. However, Tim Cato of The Athletic reported last week that the Mavericks and Detroit Pistons were in talks to send Hardaway to the Pistons in exchange for Bojan Bogdanovic. The reason why I'm glad we missed on that trade is because luka and kyrie already aren't defenders. Adding bogi would out weight the lack of defenders in our lineup to 1 defender (grant) instead of 2. Our 3,4 and 5 need to be defenders. Holmes isn't a defender but he plays it which is enough
Is there any point in listening to Cuban? Last offseason he said they were confident Brunson would be back and he was willing to do whatever it takes, but didn't make a proper offer, he didn't top what the Knicks offered either. Not to mention, he can't say they are shopping this and that guy. We know that they tried to flip Holmes but it didn't happen. He has to say these things, it doesn't say much about what they are actually trying to do behind the scenes.

It's official. 1/3 of the league has been mentioned as a possible Mav destination. If it meant signing Kurt Thomas and Terry Davis to end rumor mill i'd be for it.
I feel like there is no real need for THJ we have enough scoring and shooting. We need the obvious ,defense and a big man should definitely be the no.1 priority also adding Curry makes THJ even more unnecessary. In my opinion Adding bogdanovic in place of THJ moves the Mavs to a 1-3 seed vs 4-6 seed also I would take Rudy gobert over KAT in a trade
