and a couple more but he never earned consistent playtime for some reason. Then he was out of the rotation completely.
I don’t get it. He has good size, he can create his own shot, decent three point shooter, he is capable of going off on offense, he is a solid defender, he’s young.

I don’t know anything about Reddish truthfully. But I look at him and he’s the perfect wing defender body type (even has a 7’1″ wingspan) and he can hit 3’s. What are his issues where he’s falling to us on a minimum? He has had to be unplayable in some way on his past teams?

Jfc, someone actually posted the one decent game this guy has had in his career.

With Phil Handy this dude could be a steal
I just feel he has never had leadership to develop his raw talents

[The game Darvin Ham was referring to here](https://www.reddit.com/r/lakers/comments/14z5zou/darvin_ham_cam_reddish_kicked_our_ass_in_the_2021/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1)
If Cam is average all year and has 1 flamethrower game in the playoffs a-la Lonnie Walker IV I’ll be happy
I told myself not to get overly optimistic about Cam Reddish getting it together, but here we are a couple weeks later and I’m fully bricked up.
Just a hypothetical lineup but the thought of a defensive, tall, and lengthy JHS/Christie/Reddish/Vando/AD shut down line has me intrigued.
🥱
One thing I’ve noticed with him is he’s a lot better pulling up for 3’s and shots than spotting up. His catch and shoot numbers are…rough.
Hopefully he improves. He shot 40% on catch and shoot 3’s a couple seasons ago but outside of that has been around 29%.
I believe that Cam can be similar to Stanley Johnson when he was on the team. The tools are all there, it’s just on him to buy in
He has some high moments but then he suddenly dwindles out of rotation and into the trade talks. I remember this game off the bench on the Knicks
