Knicks need to get rid of Randle, Fournier and grimes in some kind of trade for a star.
Love IQ, I think Grimes has a more adaptable skillset but Quick is just a better player overall. I'd argue he's better than RJ at this point.
So, if and when a big trade happens, I'm expecting those two to be the major pieces in any deal and not Quick.
RJ Barrett is on the verge of a breakout year. People forget that he just turned 23. I am not interested in giving Masai Ujiri a haul for Anunobi. He's good, but he ain't that good.

OG over RJ all day every day! OG just signed a measly 4 yr 70 mil bag – 8 mil a yr less than RJ is getting for same 4 years. No way it would be strait up! We'd have to give at least 3 2nd rd picks and maybe take someone back they don't want aka a bad contract. SIGN MELO to back up Randal for 8 minutes a game and let RJ, Hart, Harenstien oand Sims try to do better/be more productive . it'd be a vet min 4mil 1 year deal! Melo would unretire in a heartbeat for this situation that is so perfect for him and us now that we don't have Obi hence don't have a serviceable back up PF!!! He can teach Randal, and Roby and rest of SF and PF his enourmois bag of tricks and knowledge of game – and retire as Knicjk – with a chip maybe! One of best shots for that he's ever had this year with us!

I don't know what to say for Quickley and his extension. I think his trade value is lowered after you extend him, after excuse postseason and average statistics with very limited ball handling. However he like Barrett and Robinson played about nine games like a superstar and young. Do I believe in his ability to out perform this contract yes. However I also expect Divincenzo to replace Quickley's ball handling putting him and RJ in competition for the SG minutes. However that leaves Grimes as the one left you gotta move with Fournier to get OG anunoby adding three first round picks sucks because you wanted Toppin to use his athleticism in this roll and ideally you want to later flip OG for Bridges.
Meanwhile you sign Wood and Bol Bol to encourage Randles inside game and to make Mitch compete offensively.
