[Post Game Thread] Las Vegas Summer League: The Detroit Pistons (3-1) defeat The San Antonio Spurs (2-2) 79-73. Dominick Barlow puts up a 19pt/11reb double-double on an 8-12 shooting.
Wesley has been pretty disappointing, the only thing he’s shown to be good at is being athletic

Sir’Jabari Rice has a serious argument of being the Spurs’ 3rd string PG at this rate. I was hoping for Blake to take the next step with everyone out but he’s still really bad on all facets of the game. Hopefully a year at Austin can turn him into a serviceable PG.

Blake will spend some time in Austin, which is not bad at all. Hopefully the coaches work with him to develop his shot, slow down, and get more vision. This season will be a pivotal year for him. If he grows, he could get a contract extension.
Big picture, it’s hard to get it right in the draft. We know we got it right with Sochan and Branham. And there were multiple reports of Blake’s excellent work ethic. If he keeps working hard we’re gonna be three out of three.
