Im a Rockets fan so im jealous y'all get to watch Ausar lol. I'd rank him y'all 2nd best player behind Cade 😂. These twins are special and are always hyper engaged. Y'all were smart to get him at 5 and not let him drop like a lot of the draft boards
Knicks fan here. I thought that Ausar was the 3rd best prospect going into the draft behind French Fry and Scoot, and slightly above Amen, then Cam. After his summer league performance I like Ausar even more. Redrafting today I’d take the twins 1and 2. They’re both can’t miss prospects and everything they’ve shown SCREAMS superstar! Honestly.I was never a big fan of Ivey and still not much so. Cade is your obvious number 1 player for now, but Ausar’s potential on both sides of the ball will eventually make him not only the best player on your roster but eventually the best player in the league. (Mark my words for posterity) Detroit basketball is back for years to come with Ausar. You guys dodged a major bullet falling out that no. 1 spot. Couldn’t done any better than getting Ausar at 5.
I would rank Ausar 2nd behind Cade Cunningham right now if he can play like this in the regular NBA season.
It seems like his jumper should be an easy fix, he has good form already, if he can get his 3pt to about 35% and his free throws to about 75% he's going to be a star
