People get really spun up about Summer League.
Summer league is just another money making opportunity for the league. Virtually useless otherwise, most players in there who weren’t drafted won’t ever sniff an NBA game, and the draft talent gets more development from NBA practices and the G league.
Brandon Williams getting hurt didn’t help
