I think if anyone is gonna upset Wemby it’s Scoot.. we only saw him play 3 quarters but he absolutely looks NBA ready
I think Wemby will lead the league in blocks, but may have trouble scoring consistently. Scoot Henderson will win ROTY!

Chet is not a rookie I hate when they do that the boy was drafted last year… just because he got hurt doesn’t change the fact he still got experience with the team and coaching staff all year…Chet will get hurt again it don’t matter anyway
Okc will have the best winning record between Spurs , Portland and OKC, so It depends on how Chet plays and how they decide what wins, only stats or everything
Disagree – He has to share the ball with SGA and Giddy. SGA going for 30+ ppg next year. Scoot has the green light next year for ROTY
From what I seen in the summer league Chet looks better

Chet won’t be best player on OKC so the teams success won’t fully be credited to him. Wemby and Scoot probably will be the best players on their teams which will help them in ROTY. Chet will have a really good year though
The Spurs are gonna be conservative with Victor so I don't see him winning it. The guy winning it IMO is either Emoni Bates or Jaime Jaquez. I'm leaning more towards Jaquez due to how the Cavs are currently constructed.

Chet can’t win rookie of the year because he is not a true rookie. This may be the first time he has played but not his first year in the NBA. I’ll be pissed if they give a non rookie the rookie of the year award.
Nobody in San antoon cares about rooky of the year. They will put Wem on a strict schedule. Why this confersation?? Nobody really knows if anybody is ready until the real season starts.

Remember Chet was drafted 2nd at 195lbs, he’s 210 now and will probably gain another 5-10lbs of muscle over the coming season. An extra 15 lbs of muscle makes a very different player! On top of that he’s been amongst the team and coaches and has a solid understanding of team tactics and play style. He’s coming in with much more nba knowledge and experience than any other rookie. Hope he wins ROTY
Wemby will not play enough games
OKC fans know what’s been brewing since they acquired Shai. They’re a young solid group that if kept together will either force Wemby out of SA or have great battles with Chet. Either way Chet is surrounded by what he needs and seems to be what he wants, the league should be on the lookout for him and OKC in general!

victor n chet have the same skillset. difference is vic is taller and chet is faster. I'd bet on his speed being more impactful than vics height at his current weight/strength level. I got chet for ROY
It shouldn actually be the opposite. The hype around Wemby being the "best prospect in sports history" is cool and all but Chet has a distinguishable advantage over everyone else. He's been with his team for an entire season already. While he hasn't been on the court, his already built a year's worth of relationship and chemistry with his teammates and the coaching staff. Chet is gonna fit right into the team and the only thing setting him off his feet is his own game at this point. Wemby has to do all that team stuff and figuring out his place in his first season. It's gonna be a tougher road for Wemby than it is gonna be for Chet.
100% Chet can upset Wemby for Roty. Pop will probably keep him on a minutes restriction and he might only play around 50 to 60 games.
Chet seems to have more dog in him than Wemby…but Wemby has more raw potential. I just want to see the dog in Wemby come out plus for him to avoid serious injury. I think Chet is set to have a great year if he can stay healthy. Could be close for RotY.

Chet is the favorite not the dark horse. He has spent a year getting comfortable in the process of being in the NBA. He is a US national to begin with. He is older. It's weirder to think that Wembanyama would be the favorite. Counting out Scooter is weird as well, he is far closer to what he will be when hes a polished player than VW is.
Chet Holmgren had a lot of strength and conditioning done while he was out.. i think hes ahead of wemby. Hes only a rookie by technicality but hes been training with OKC for a while now
