Health isn't much of a problem for him. The one who has been following him and training him in France as been hired by the Spurs as he's obviously knows what he's doing (not been injured all season). As was said, he hasn't played basketball since his last game in France and has spent more time doing other stuff then training with the media asking for interviews night and day. No wonder he didn't do anything in game 1 at the summer league. Ask any professionnal in any sport to stop playing for a month and they'll tell you it's very hard to get back into the tempo of things.
