Mike, bro… Dame isnt likely to be moved before this season starts… I dont know how to make that more clear. Cronin has basically said miami isnt happening. It will likely be 1Dame, 2 Simons, 3 Thybulle, 4 Grant, 5 Nurkic. Scoot and Sharpe as your 6th and 7th man guys. Likely to sign a 1 year backup center. 😂 the dame thing aint happening until a legit offer of value is made, and Miami has ZERO value to offer portland alone… ZERO value. They need a 3rd or 4th team, and why wouldnt those teams make thier own bid for lillard? You are underselling the market for dame. I understand that he said miami or bust, but Cronin has made it clear that Miami DOESNT have enough to get him. As for teams that COULD win a championship and need a PG like dame, its obviously Miami, Philladelphia, Boston. Top 3. But outside of that, plenty of buyers will emerge mid season. I could see teams like Sacramento, Utah, Toronto, Maybe Knicks (even with brunson there) possibly Minnesota (although there is already a ton of cap eaten up there), Houston, teams like that will more than likely be looking for something to jump them into the chase.
