    I think he thought he had a chance to start at PG this year in Phoenix. I think they could have put out him/Beal with Booker as the 3. The real questions are 1. does this take Graham out of the rotation or can he push him and beat him as the backup? and 2. Can Cam Payne push Tre for a starting role. If Wemby is getting doubles I'd rather have Payne camping on the 3 point line.

    Dude just got traded as a solid role player on a championship contender to a rebuilding team (with a bright future)…makes sense he is upset at the Suns. I don't see this as any negativity towards the Spurs, though.

    Primo would be killing it in this offense. Payne was a beast in the playoffs. He's most likely the reason why Chris Paul got traded. The Suns offense was moving the ball at a much faster pace with Paul on the sideline. Tre jones and Wesley better be on their A game, because one of them is likely to be traded if not

    Die hard suns fan hear love ur channel I don’t want to be a negative Nancy here but you guys should really rally for Wesley instead of cam I can understand from a distance this might seem like a good fit but truss you’ll understand what I’m getting at sooner than later but no shade but he’s a low iq guy tht holds the ball too long and can’t finish around the rim Monty tried his best coach pop impersonation in phx and when I say the .5 system doesn’t fit his game believe but hopefully I’m wrong and everything works for the best

    Payne is in a difficult situation. He is 28 yrs old and was expecting to help the Suns go deep in the playoffs next season. He would absolutely come in handy this year because he is a competent point guard and he can spread the floor with his 3 point range but he does not fit our timeline beyond this year. He wants a legitimate shot to have a significant role on a playoff or perhaps a championship team. He will not get many more chances. I think Pop will have a nice talk with him and maybe Payne will realize that maybe he can add something to his game under Pop like DeMar DeRozan did. I am sure when the trade deadline comes the Spurs will trade him to another contender if that is what he wants. I think Wemby is going to make everyone so much better this season and that includes Payne if he wants to be here. The Spurs can showcase him like they did with Josh Richardson this last season.

    I don’t think we are keeping Payne — I think Spurs are going to be apart of another 3way trade — & I don’t want mofos here who don’t want to be here & be team players #periodpointblank waive or trade him — would rather keep Branham & Graham & let Blake continue to develop

    Cam was the only one who showed up in the elimination game against the Nuggets. Dbook couldn't shoot or KD. All the Suns needed was a 3 man and he delivered if only the SUPERSTARS showed up. Mat Ishbia era is interesting.

    Hear my troll mind out, with all the expiring contracts for next year amounting to over $25M, is the PATFO thinking of drafting Bronny as our PG (as clan said, our own Jamal Murray) and maybe have Bron come over to retire in a spurs uniform? Lololol. That may be a championship on Wembys year 2.
