The Thunder Are Ahead of Schedule

The Oklahoma City Thunder were one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this past season. Thanks too a breakout year from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and a roster packed with young up and coming players, the Thunder won 40 games and made the NBA Play In Tournament. All after they had only won 22 games the season prior. With Shai establishing himself as a Superstar in the league, and the emergence of other young stars like Jalen Williams, Josh Giddey, and Chet Holmgren, the Thunder are ahead of schedule…

  1. There was this random game I remember when okc lost to Memphis by 70 points without SGA playing. Later in the season , they play again with SGA and they beat the grizzlies.

That’s just speaks to how much the team needs that man.

  2. They should trade their picks and maybe one or two of their good young guys for Embiid. It's scary how much potential this team has value-wise

  3. I wouldn’t say SGA’s emergence was a surprise. He had that rlly good first season with the Clippers and I remember him coming to the team was the one thing I was super hopeful about. He definitely had the potential the entire time, I wouldn’t say out of nowhere.

  4. What realistically was the timeline for OKC after trading for those picks? I assume they’d be a playoff team again in 3-4 yrs and it looks like they will be

  5. They are in year 5 of their rebuild and have yet to win a playoff series. How are they "ahead" of schedule? Like can we please settle down with the clickbait videos?

  6. That warchest image of their first round picks really puts in perspective how much the mavs are hurting right now.

  7. I made a bet with my bro when they got all those draft picks that they would make the west conference finals in 2025. I think it could happen

  8. Good vid, btw tho anyone who watched OKC 2 years ago knew Shai would be this good. He led the league in scoring the 2nd half of the 2021-2022 season

  9. portland fans slandering russ to me is still comical like he's been more successful then the trailblazers have been since the drexler era + okc need to win now with shai cause he doesn't have time to wait

  10. The thunder will never trade for a superstar. If they do, that means it’s not working out with their core.
