Hearing that Denver was his only option last year, and that he wasn’t happy about it at the beginning, is kinda a bummer. I remember we all thought he turned down larger offers to come here, but that was never true. Free agents for some reason aren’t crazy about coming here.
But it worked out in the end. He won a ring and had a whole fanbase begging him to stay. Very few non-star players can say that happened to them.
