Luckily, Embiid basically said he was trolling when he made that comment about winning. Every star player’s goal is to win a championship for the team that drafted them so as long as Philly stays competitive, Embiid will stay.

Its constant failures and choking when the pressure is on so the blame for 76ers failures starts with the star player. If you played your ass off and produced in playoffs and cant win, thats fine. You did your part, the management failed you. But when you constantly grossly underperform in playoffs, you can't blame the team right away. It starts with the best player: if he doesn't perform in playoffs the rest wont matter.
Everyone wants to win…every player in nba will say that. Not everyone is willing to do what is need led to win. Not everyone has the mental strength and personality to persevere either. Wanting to win isnt a great revelation.
