Sharpe didn’t seem to take summer league too season, so I’m not sure I’d judge too much on it.

Man I was hoping Sharpe was going to come out looking for murder in Summer League, seeing inferior opponents and with all the hype about Scoot.

Why? Because the thing that is likely to separate Sharpe from the greatest SGs the game has seen isn’t so much skillset as mindset. With each opportunity he seems to pass up, we must recognize that he likely doesn’t have it. That’s the bad news, the good news is that Scoot well may.

Man you guys really gotta learn to look at the positives. Sharpe showed a lot of special shit out there.

I appreciate this observation. I know I’m not the best at understanding everything that’s happening on the court, especially in summer league when players are coached to try things outside their comfort zone. I’m big on Sharpe and enjoy understanding better what’s going to take him to the next level

I mean…. Not really. Guys like Jabari Smith and Keegan Murray showed they were far superior to the competition. Sharpe was markedly worse than this year’s 20th pick.

And I watched every game. I saw a guy who looked partially disinterested and partially tunnel visioned on scoring. There was very little playmaking or defense to be excited about from Shaedon
