  1. It’s interesting that Pat Riley showcased Orlando Robinson instead of keeping him off the trade block view. I wonder if Cronin may want him included as a blue chip rookie in a trade. Notice how Miami threw Duncan Robinson into the offer? Chess moves, make good look great by offering meh first. This is fun.

  2. Thank you so much I grew up in Oregon I live in Arizona now. Listen to you all the time!

  3. I'm the biggest Shaedon stan out there, but exactly for the reasons you mentioned (but not maybe explicitly as reasons for this claim), there's still too many hands on this team that will want to score now that Dame is gone. Note that this is with Dame not even on the team. I think Ant and Jerami alone will take a lot of opportunities away from Shae. With all that money, I can't imagine Jerami would be happy to give a lot of that clout up. But I do think we'll move on from Jerami in the next two years via trade, and I argue we'd need to do this because he'll be out of the timeline of our young guys. Scoot is not going to be a major scorer, but more a scorer relied on in particular situations (draining corner threes and getting to the rim consistently). I don't see a lot of room for Shae to get 20+ with those teammates. Granted, some of those teammates won't be there anymore in 2 years. That will bve the time Shae will start scoring 20+. Not because he can't do it already, but because of who his teammates are going to be THIS season.

  4. 20 ppg is not very realistic for Sharpe because, as you note, he's not going to get the ball enough. With Grant back (unfortunately), he'll probably shoot the most and Ant will get a ton of shots, too. Even if Scoot focuses on distributing, rather than shooting a lot, and Nurk isn't back (he'll take a fair chunk of shots if he is) I don't think Portland will have three 20ppg scorers. I'll be surprised if Sharpe gets more than 16ppg, myself, and I'll be shocked if Sharpe gets 20ppg with the current roster (less Dame).

  5. Mike, did I hear you say yesterday this is your FIFTH YEAR doing this every weekday??

Wow. That’s pretty amazing. Congratulations on not only your dedication, but also finding new content five times each week to engage listeners. Well done Mike.

  6. I feel like you forgot about Afernee Simons who averages 20 ppg. How is an unproven Scoot a rookie going to have the ball in his hands the most. Where all these shots coming from that's going to allow Sharpe to average 20 also? Just thought from an eye from the outside looking in.

  7. I think 20 points for Sharpe is very reachable. He can score from anywhere. I think where he needs to over achieve is in rebounds with Grant not being the bes rebounder. I think 20 ppints a game for Grant is also reasonable. He hass avaraged 20.7 a game the last three seasons. If Sharpe, Grant & ANT can get the 20 points a game they are all capable of getting. I think 8 assists for Scoot will be reachable.
