What a load of crap. Unless he would be some sort of throw-in in a bigger deal the Bulls aren’t gonna give up on him just because of a bit of a sophomore slump. And saying that signing Carter and re-signing Coby is the reason doesn’t make sense either. Coby can play both guard spots, Ayo even 1-3.

Good, he can go and isn’t going to get better.

Don’t get why this sub loves a below average player that showed no improvement last season.

This is not the most confident reporting in the world I gotta be honest

I hope we keep him now that we finally have a shooting coach.

The Bulls tendered Ayo with the qualifying offer worth $5.2m next year- Ayo could sign that contract today.

Ayo is also an RFA, so the Bulls can match any offer sheet he signs with another team.

So if he’s not coming back to the Bulls it’s because he got a multi-year deal that the Bulls’ FO thought was too much.

As others said, doesn’t make sense. Bulls have him with a QO of $5,216,324. The Raptors not only have no MLE or BAE, they also only have $5,208,919 in space below the luxury tax. They would have to do a sign and trade. They can sign him on a minimum contract… but why wouldn’t the Bulls match that.

Good, cut him and sign Freeman liberty

He’s restricted, so Bulls would have to decide if the offer he has from the other team is doable. At the end of the day, it’s the Bulls choice if he returns. I like the kid, but again, this franchise isn’t the luxury tax type.

I could see him taking the qualifying offer. I don’t know who really has the cap space that would realistically make him an offer at this point

If he gets paid I’m happy for him.

If he signs for a minimum deal I’ll be a little upset the Bulls couldn’t keep him.

Having 2 Bernstein’s in town is such a nightmare

Report: Ayo Dosunmu likely to return to Bulls

Just as accurate as whoever Jason is

I think his people are trying to get him a multi year deal from another team otherwise he’s stuck with a QO one year deal. If he gets a multi year deal he knows the bulls prob won’t match it.

Can I be a reporter too? I have some random takes as well.

How reputable of a source is Dan Bernstein, let alone his son? This rumor may end up being true but definitely is not breaking news. Feel like putting report in the title makes this misleading.
