It can take shooters a while to get adjusted to the speed of the game and the close outs. It took Jamal Murray months into the regular season to find a rhythm,
If you watched the games it was obvious Dick is a terrible player. Nearly every shot he took was a air ball. It was nearly impossible for him to even hit the rim. If you draft a shooter that can't shoot you basily took garbage. What caused his sudden decline in accuracy should be the question. If I had to guess its the European coaching staff. They are not suited to work in the NBA. We are basically tanking so we get to keep the draft picks from San Antonio.
It didn`t take many games for him to see how his role should be. Took time to feel it out and performed outstanding the later games.

Really happy with the Gradey Dick signing. I don’t think you could go wrong with Kobe Bufkin or Keyonte George (my personal pic after seeing him at Globl Jam), but Gradey is the best fit for the Raptors. He’s clearly very intelligent and has shown that he’s much more than a shooter.
