Either way, probably something like that is realistic.
Lowry probably bought out. If not, Cronin likely wants him to mentor Scoot.
Simmons might be kept as a trade piece and to see how well he gels with the squad.

Within the next three years we’re getting two Miami picks to use while Dame is still in Miami to help ensure those picks aren’t great. Not good for a rebuild around Scoot.
I think Cronin probably wants some better picks or young players back within the next two or three years, and I do too.

Heat’s 2024 through 2027 picks are not available because OKC owns our 2025 pick (protected with 2026 as backup).

Ben is not getting traded because The Nets are not trading 2 picks to get back Herro and theyre definitely not using the later picks.
AlGRiddim
Don’t think the Nets are giving up three picks just to get off Simmons.

We’re gonna have 15 guards on the squad!
wiggggg
Lol @ the nets thinking about that

As a Nets fan no way are we taking on Nurkic contract we just got of Joe Harris and Patty Mills contracts any moves we make to get involved in this trade we’ll have to involve us staying below the luxury tax. Adding all those three players puts us over the tax. Nets reporters say that we would be sending the 2025 phx first along with Spencer Dinwiddie to the Heat along with either a second round pick we got from the bucks or Cam Thomas to stay under the luxury tax after adding Herro to the roster.

No way do we not get a single young player lol

With that kind of package, the Nets would be better off trading for Lillard instead of helping facilitate a Lillard trade.

No from Nets, Hell No from Blazers.

Fuck it. Do it.

As a heat fan I am not sure we land Dame plus a frp. I do think someone’s salary dump will come to us. I’d say either Nurkic or Dinwiddie end up in Miami along with Dame, all picks go to Portland and Herro and maybe Jovic to Brooklyn.

I think ownership would rather get off that Dame money a year earlier than taking Ben Simmons’ contract. It’s too bad because it’s a classic Paul Allen move to take on money for picks.

this is ridiculous

So the nets basically giving up three frp to offload Simmons and add Tyler herro? I don’t see it

Heat only have two picks, though, right?
