Also from the recent conclusion of the NBA summer league the Toronto Raptors have made the decision to waive Joe Wieskamp despite his 27-point showing in the finale against the Golden State Warriors. Though the team was not impressed with Wiesikmap’s game, they were very impressed with recent undrafted free agent Markquis Nowell. The front office has even gone as far as saying this is the most excited they have been about an undrafted player since Fred VanVleet.
