This Is The Lakers’ Last Chance

Jordan had his “Last Dance” so let’s call this The Last Chance. LeBron James has made it no secret that he wants to play with his son before he retires, and with the Lakers unlikely to draft Bronny, it’s time for LA to put all their chips on the table and go for the 2024 NBA Championship.

  1. If he picks up his player option a trade isn’t possible because the new cba he would need to be traded for another star to match salary’s and nobody’s doing that only way he plays with bron that year is more than likely opting out and signing for cheap

  2. Lakers roster is mediocre. Stop hyping those bum to mediocre pick ups. Bron is not taking a back seat and no coach or gm will tell him that.

Austin Reaves is a flop machine and not that good. He can not be a pg or have control of the offense on a winning team.

Gabe is not better than DLo. So stop this madness. Gabe stunk up the finals like DLo did his last series.

  3. AD has carried the Lakers, Rui and Reaves have both over performed…LeChoke is a DISASTER and a LIABILITY. Forget that he can barely finish half a game, he was putting up less than 20 points and doing little else on the court MOST of the playoffs. AD has had some consistency issues, but overall has donr incredibly well and the Lakers cast have been incredible. The Lakers COULD win it all if thry traded LeFlop but they wont.

  4. Denver is not getting worse they’re getting better. Each of their starters are entering another year of their prime

  5. And people say his 8 straight finials run was amazing he lost 6 and won 4 i don't see how that is impressive

  6. oh now its going great again now its because of pelinka but when the thing is not doing so good its cause of lebron he trade for russ huh?

  7. A single ring out of the James era is still a success. That is more success than most teams even sniff in three decades.

  8. Talk about something different dog, we're all sick of hearing about the lakers. Even us laker fans. Shut it and move on.

  9. Just wait, these Bronsexvuals will cry next year that the Lakers wasted Lebron's final year by not surrounding him with more help even though this is about as much help as you can possibly get

  10. Rusty what I can’t seem to grasp is how you can’t grasp nba history especially with lebron being on the lakers. Kareem gave the team to magic and let magic be the number 1 option. Besides injuries when is lebron’s pride gonna step aside and let AD be the number one option for this team. When is lebron going to do the same thing that dwade did for him for the next generation? for example the reason why this team struggled so much last season is became lebron wanted to pass Kareem so badly for his legacy and pride. He cared more about passing Kareem than winning games. Idk what you watching but it was obvious

  11. This is not the Lakers' last chance. It's L.A. They get cheap free agents and forced trades whenever they want.

  12. Please talk about jaylen browns contract extension. I need to hear someone say that I’m not crazy that I don’t want him on my team next year

  13. Regular season this team is a top 3 seed. Best record since the trade deadline last season. Playoffs you need good defence, team chemistry and 2/3 good iso players. Lakers have that.

  14. Bron was mvp candidate in the 2020 21 season averaging 25/8/7. With Lakers 1st seed. But AD and Bron both got injured and they slipped to play in. We’re up 2-1 vs Suns and AD again got injured 💀

  15. To this day i dont know why everyone assumes lebron goes to the team his son is drafted to immediately. Like, why not 2-3 seasons later? He just said he wants to play with him

  16. I don't think they have a shot. They didn't get significantly better with those signings and considering aging leaders it's just not enough. On top of that they definitely overachieved in the play-offs and had luck with the draw: Grizzlies did not play anyway near the 2nd seed level and they didn't meet Suns in the 2nd (or 1st) round as KD didn't play enough games to raise the Suns to at least the 3rd seed in the regular season. They were the 3rd best team in the West in the playoffs last year and considering Nuggets' dominance and more significant upgrade of the Suns, they at best may just retain that status. Not even talking of potential rise of Pelicans, OKC, Mavericks and may be even Clippers. Plus they need to get lucky again to have AD and Lebron healthy in postseason.
