dude hell no!!! I’ve been through too many years of us being the best franchise in american sports but ignored. i’m hey can keep ignoring or they can look from the outside. but they can’t come in!!! and you don’t get to give them a key. Maybe u should go be a lakers fan if that’s how u roll homie. Or a knicks fan. go be a big market superstars chaser. we didn’t chase Wemby like we didn’t chase AMY SUPERSTAR THAT HAS EVER PLAYED FOR THE FRANCHISE. Obviously i’m being a bit extra here but seriously man u gotta have more pride in what u been through with this team. I don’t want them to suddenly love us & i think u do for views. i get it but that’s not the Spurs way.
and then”hard times” is not what i’m worried about. it’s the great times when we were ignored and disrespected. THATS WHY THEY CANT GET IN IMO. IDC about 3 or 4 bad years. i’m talking kicking the leagues ass for 20+ & the average fan & espn “ugh, I respect them to lose. EVERY YEAR!! every night watching sportscenter show out opponents dunk all over us and mad highlights, & at the end barely show the scoreboard where we won by 15-20. i’m scared cuz we have the premiere franchise in sports and nobody talks about it. not even our ppl. what other pro sports team has been in business for 50 years and only missed the playoffs 6 times in teams history!? and 4 of the 6 have been the last 4 years. and we’re a small market that gets NO SUPERSTAR FREE AGENTS. EVER!!
Compared Wemby’s French league highlights with summer league. The major difference was that Wemby was getting set-up properly in France. In Vegas, everyone was set out to do their own thing.
everyone is welcomed in the spurswagon, in fact it would be a nice change of pace if during wemby's carreer the media puts some respect in our name unlike what happened during our last dinasty where they dissed us because we were "boring"

I will just put it out there again, it's not about gate-keeping, it's more so about how annoying
bandwagon-player fans can be . If you are a Victor fan there's no problem to join, but you got to
respect the other players on the roster, respect Coach Pop, respect the FO, respect the whole
OG. You see how they trashed Malaki & Julian already in a Summer League game just because
they lost him one unimportant game, forgetting they actually carried him in his debut.
Imagine how much they will trash the rosters and the uniforms when the Spurs don't want to
"Win now".They will want him to leave just like Bron's fans treat all of his former teams,"
Cavs trash, let's go to Miami to form a big 3", "Oh, Wade is washed now, better form another big
3 on another team", "Well, Bron got Cavs a ring, he owned them nothing, now time to go after
the largest market in LA". No loyalty to the team at all… That's why I adore the likes of TD,
Steph, and Dirk so much.
That's a huge difference between a team fan and a player fan, a player fan will be gone once
the player he's supporting is gone, but team fans stay forever. It's never all about one player in
the Spurs, they play team basketball, even Duncan. If they learned to respect that and stop big
mouthing, then there should be no problem.
