  1. I agree with pretty much everythibg you said. Dallas is either one "Rabbit out of the Hat" trade, or 2 years of player developement (Green/Hardy/O-Max/Lively) away from being a true contender.

They are rumoured to be a 3rd team in a possible Siakam to Atlanta trade. THJ (Toronto) and McGee (Atlanta) out, as well as either one 1st or 3 2nd to Toronto… If Harrison/Dallas can pull that trade off using just the 2nd round picks, I think we would have a real chance in the West.

  2. Thanks for the insight. Especially about Thybulle. I was kinda disappointed missing him, but it hurts a little less now. I heard they’re holding out to be a third team on a Siakam to Atlanta trade – add THJ, McGee, and some picks to get Capela. I’m curious how you would evaluate the offseason if they pull that one off?

  3. I've watched a lot of videos like this about Dallas recently, but this one stands out. I found your takes to be fresh and informed. Well done sir.

  4. They gotta trade Dwight powell he trash
They gotta get dereck far away from him Get some one solid to mentor him
Until than Dallas ain’t going no where there roster is just gonna get carried by the stars
First round exit is there ceiling 2nd at best and that’s With luck

  5. They didn’t “miss” the play-in.
They intentionally finished poorly to keep their #1 pick.
    That was #10 overall.
They ended up getting Lively, Prosper and Holmes. They also acquired Grant Williams. So yea it was a good thing. Those guys plus Kyrie, a healthy Kleber and great little guys like Curry and Hardy makes us a vastly better team. I think. But yea losing was a good strategy.

  6. The Thybulle hate is Halarious. Sour grapes much??? 😂🤣 He is literally All NBA Defensive Potential. And is getting better offensively. He shot 40%3pt past year. He would have put this whole offseason over the top for us. Would have made our rotations so versatile and given us so many options on lineups we could run out on the floor at any given time.

  7. On paper it's all good, even better than good….from now on it's all about chemistry and most of all about Kidd's coaching….
I believe in guys in Kidd and co, not so much, sorry!
But i like big surprises, so …we'll see!
