   I'm curious, if players success depends on coaches systems why don't players stats and success look more similar? Why don't all coaches use the same system which clearly leads to wins? I'm not trying to invalidate the part coaches play in players success but I question its significance as we've seen many players/teams in many situations and some players/teams do better. I think the term system player totally loses sight of the fact that putting other players in the same system doesn't give the same results…

   I've just about come to the conclusion that LOW does not actually comprehend the game of basketball. He's observed a lot of basketball.    The winning bias convo just be flying over peoples heads. "Winning is how we determine who's better!" No. The better players generally win. The better comes before the win.

    Tyson got cooked, his “analysis” is based on a hypothetical in how he believes bill russell would look in a spaced out league but then cried for 20 minutes about how it’s not a hypothetical. That’s the same type of hypothetical that old heads use to say lebron, curry, kd, jokic, etc. Couldn’t survive in earlier generations because they can’t deal with physicality based on watching them play in a less physical era.

    Football also got cooked because if you have ever just watched a basketball game you playmake out of the corner maybe 1% of the time. No offense is ran like “hey let’s get the ball to the corner to run the play”. On the perimeter you have the top of the key where the playmaking is coming from 60% of the time and the wing probably 40% of the time. Jokic playmakes from the perimeter as well as both elbows, both blocks, both short corners. He objectively playmakes from more places
