Success looks like wins always. 😂 However, I would like to see each player grow, accept their roles with enthusiasm. Play hard. I want to see Udoka use each guy up and down the roster to their specific talent and abilities. I also want the guys to create a culture of no man is above the team or winning, and a culture of grit city.
Im here to tell y'all. I know bball fairly well and the rockets this year are going to shock the league. We're gonna win 44-45 games this year. Its gonna be like who are these guys and what happened to the rockets. We're gonna be 1 or 2 veterans away from a chip, a 7ft windex/lob guy with decent post moves like Garnet and a sniper that can spot up or get his own off the dribble like Ray Allen.
In order to win a championship you need a team full of two way, high IQ, high motor guys. It helps to be long and athletic with wind and legs for days, that play great defense and solid offense. You also need a legendary offensive workhorse. Look at denver how did they win They had a legend offensive workhorse in Joker and a bunch of high IQ/motor guys in Gordon, porter, murray etc. How did pop win all those years he had a legend surrounded by high IQ/2 way/ high motor guys. Same for GSW, Same for Toronto that year, same for any champ teams Even lakers, boston, and houston.
The rockets have that this year. Quite a few High IQ guys in ALp, Tari, Tate, FVV, Brooks, Jock, Amen, Jeffrey all athletic and majority over 6'6. Then we need high motor guys that get in and play what I call controlled fury. Bari, Tari, Tate, Cam, Amen, Jock, Brooks, Uncle Jeff can all get into this role.
Then since we dont have a offensive legend we need the next best thing. group of offensive studs. Amen, FVV, Bari, ALp, JG, KPJ. We dont have good team. We have a great team one large piece away from chip. If Dame time leaves on his own in free agency and comes here 😮. Hes a legend that we would win a chip with.
In closing, all great champ teams have one thing in common an excellent players coach Riley, Spoelstra, Tomjanovich, Kerr, Pop, uncle phil jackson, Mark Jackson. The signing of Udoka was THE huge pie slice of need for the rockets. Excellent signing.
We got next. Our roster looks mostly like NY knicks or Sacramento and look where they ended up with mike brown and Tommy Thibbs. We have just as good of a coach if not better. Watch what happens 😂. Its gonna shock the NBA and put other top five teams like denver, miami, boston milwaukee, and Memphis on notice. We comin. 😮😮😊
BTW watchout for cleveland this year. They killed the draft and finally got their snipers in Danny green and max struss. JB bickerstaff or Udoka will be coach of the year in 24.

I know that there is a little bit of soreness with us winning the lottery, but I think the rockets did absolutely great in draft too, as did the Mavericks.. all three Texas teams did great. So again what's your input on this
