I can’t hear the mic on my end but my favorite off-season move was drafting TAYLOR HENDRICKS. Passing on the obvious choice has plagued the Utah Jazz draft picks for a long time. I love that they picked Hendricks at 9 and then still got they guard they almost reached for in KEYONTE GEORGE later in the draft.
And personally I love BRICE SENSABAUGH. Huge boom-or-bust potential imo. Could easily be the steal of the draft if his scoring & shooting translated to the NBA.
Turning Rudy Gay & a 2nd into taking a chance on JOHN COLLINS was my favorite off-season non-draft move. The Clarkson’s extension felt like the backup plan – couldn’t do anything with that cap space so they overpaid Jordan this year to try to get value for him down the road. He’s not a good fit for this Jazz team anymore: a bad 3pt shooter / bad defending guard that’s skill is trying to get his own bucket. Jazz need Sexton, Keyonte, Brice, THT, etc. to be getting reps, not watching JC playing ISO. Thankfully this contract should be really enticing to other teams at the trade deadline.
