Our needs aren’t at the 2 guard spot. Yes he’s a very good player, and would have helped our offense. But…we need to locate a suitable wing, preferably OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakum or even Deandre Hunter in ATL. Sign Naz Reid and move on from Julius Randle finally. A Reid/Toppin tandem at the PF position would more than be enough to equal Randles 25/10.

Love Beal, but he wasn't the piece we needed, honestly. we're close with the team we have. Cut the dead weight with Keels and Founier and Whomever (not rose, he is our unofficial bench coach lol) and add more shooting. If we tighten up our defense I see us being a top 5 seed again next season.

It wasn’t a missed opportunity. While Beal is a great player, he’s on the wrong side of 30, has health issues, is getting paid a TON and doesn’t address the issues we have. We don’t need another small guard. We need a shooting wing! I’d stay patient this off-season and see what happens in future. A superstar who can truly elevate this team doesn’t seem available. I’d keep my eyes on PG13 but that’s about it 🤷🏽♂️
