I need moar Macmahon theme song please!
Laker haterz… most of the NBA says they won the off-season. Bontemps is a joke!
Bontemps, the great interruptor
The Celtics will be fine. They have plenty of picks if they need to make a change.
lost me in 5 min Boston's Trade.
I think its going to be a excellent move .
Hoop collective would be so lit if Tim Bontemps was dropped from the collective.
The volume on these videos is soo low I’m cycling Trynna listen but I can’t
I never get this winners and losers videos when none of the teams actually started to play the new season yet lol. NO matter how great a talent is doesn't always mean they will play good elsewhere and 2nd of all, injuries can come unexpectedly . Gotta just wait until the season starts and if the team with the new star players don't win a ring that season, following season or ever then is that team still considered winners because this happens all the time wherever Harden goes especially? lol
Sleeping on the Jazz. 3 first round including keyonte George who looks legit, they got John Collins for nothing, Clarkson picked up his contract. Everybody is calling Ainge which is exactly where he likes to be. Utah's big move is coming. When what we can't be sure but in the meantime they just piled on more assets. Danny Ainge has put on a masterclass on how to rebuild a franchise. I'm kind of shocked that Utah didn't get a mention.
Bontemps it’s NOT your show bruh!
Love how the Raptors are mentioned as losers. Yet the Rocket just paid some of the worst starting high volume shooters in the NBA last season.
A couple of veterans who left the Rockets said it’s the worst run franchise they have ever seen in the NBA with the inmates running the asylum.
They said they young players were unprofessional. Those two brick checkers they over paid contributed to the terrible culture for their respective teams.
Dillon Brook was probably on the second worst unprofessional team that had too many antics and sideshows going on and after the season the Grizzlies did what no teams do and let everyone know they didn’t want him back under any circumstances. Sounds like a great leader for the Rockets.
Oh how about Mr Bet on Himself. The man who was responsible for the Raptors lack of team chemistry because of his jealousy of Scottie Barnes and the young drafted players on the Raptors… You can see how this is going to work out in Houston. Fred had the 6th worse shooting percentage out of all regular NBA shooters and went on a press tour to blame the offensive schemes, not having the ball in his hands enough, and his young teammates… nothing that should effect his poor shooting.
Watch the Rockets will be a lottery team again next season and those two veterans will be fighting and complaining about their young players.
Who had the worst offseason? I’m going to say Sixers because they are bringing back a worse team that couldn’t make it out of the second round and now the MVP is looking at the possibility of leaving.
The Raptors will be better than the Rocket the next 2 years with Selfish Fred throwing up bricks.
The Bucks are not offseason winners
I strongly believe Boston has taken a few steps backward with their trade acquisitions and their focus of less defense more offense. Boston has been in the championship conversation for years and that’s success to me. Now they gut their roster taking a huge gamble…. we’ll have to wait and see.
Explain the downside of swapping picks with non playoff teams?
Bontemps is soooooo annoying!
Love this Pod. And have no issues with any of these guys but man was Bontemps extremely annoying & wrong this episode.
There is no amount of Lo-fi jazzy hip-hop beats in this universe that will ever make any of the three of you cool or listenable.
Tim Bontemps……
A few thoughts:
1. The most important acquisition the Rockets made is signing Udoka to coach. That makes them huge winners.
2. Don’t sleep on Indiana. By drafting Jarace Walker and adding Bruce Brown and Obi Toppin, they increased their depth. This is a talented well-coached young team that is going to make some noise this year.
3. Big Losers: The Warriors added an old, old point guard while sacrificing a big chunk of their future. Besides trading away Poole, they also threw in Patrick Baldwin Jr, who looks like a smart ball player, and Ryan Rollins, who has a lot of potential. They basically sacrificed two draft classes for a guy who doesn’t fit their system.
I hate that Disney owns ESPN now. They go far more for ratings not reporting. But i have to concede that there is far more competition and how much podcasts have taken off. This is a quote unquote nerd show. I am glad they have added listeners. But they talk over each other ALL THE TIME ❤ IT😂😂😂
Wendy get hat man off the show, he’s matter of fact as if it was HIS show lol and stop SLEEPING ON THE PACERS
Man people that cover the NBA are out of their freaking mind when it comes to Marcus Smart. He was the Celtics third best point guard oh, by the end of the year next year he'll be riding the pine and not even starting from Memphis😅
Tim loves to give excuses to Boston but he will also go hard on the lakers every chance he gets. His bias is so clear
Morey just needs to take Harden to a strip club, and they'll be best buds again.
Tim Bontemps told exactly 0 lies in this podcast
Imagine being a massive casual analyst who doesn't watch the team who drafted a history breaking ROY.
Boston could become mirror-clippers except their rotation guys could go injured and not the stars
Achiuwa wasn't on that championship team. He was part of the Lowry trade for miami
L take on the Celtics. That team has become stagnant and had very little heart even with Smart. You all overrating Smart and Grant
Lol can they just shut their mouth on Daryl Morey.. the guy hasnt won a single championship.. give me a break..
Bontemps take on the Raptors: he said that the only player still on the team from their chip year is Precious and he's not a starter. Precious wasn't on the Raps when they won, but OG and Pascal were. He mentioned all the talent lost for nothing in VanVleet, Ibaka, Lowry, and Gasol. What exactly did any of those players achieve after leaving? All 3 of the last fell off; Van Vleet remains to be seen. They do need to extend Pascal though
Cam whitmore got worked by g leaguer's in the championship game. Wouldn't look opposing players in the eye after the game. I think i know why he slipped.
This is hilarious so the Celtics trade an aging defender on the decline and a player that was out of the rotation for a guy that would of made all nba if his team won more and they’re calling this off season a L meanwhile Bucks who got stopped first round brought back the same old team & they won 🤣 alrighty folks
So where TF do they talk about the Mavs
Bontemps is the biggest Eeyore. He should be disallowed on any Suns' conversation. His takes are exhausting and awful.
Brian does not understand that team depth and defense are crucial to winning not to mention the fact that Beal has not proven that he can be a contributing player to a winning team much like Porzingis.
Not sure if Atlanta would even be interested, but Philly should send Harden and a first rounder to ATL for Dejounte Murray.
I think these guys are worried about Ishbia's money, more than Ishbia is worried about it. You know what's going to happen, they will be trading some of these guys on their last year of their contract to get off the money and get assets in return. Especially if it doesn't pan out. The Suns will be fine and continue to figure out how to win, instead of winning on the cheap, like Sarver did from the minute he bought the team.
Why do americans think ć is ch. It's not.
Sorry I thought Windy ate 5 eagles
CLICK BAIT.. OUT
If Celtics can get KAT or Embiid they win this off-season. Got all their picks. Lots of big contracts in AL brogdon rob. Philly should just fire Morey hire Sam hinkie trade embiid and restart process without him.
The most passive aggressive podcast ever 😂
God can we PLEASE stfu about smart! He was TRASH! Buh my heart! Buh my soul! Who will inspire me?!?! Talent trumps smart. And smart cant shoot and acted his way to a dpoy. As for grant? Who cares…we got rid of him and got him back in jordan walsh. Defensive juggernaut, good stand up dude that sounds like will be a great locker room guy.
Why he act like it’s his money??
*honorable mention*
Rayjojoyovic 🤣
Why they didn’t fire Bontemps? Bro is the worst
HOW DID THE SUNS WIN!?😡😠🤬 THEIR IS NO DEFENSE IN THIS SQUAD 😂😂😂
AND HOW DID THE BUCKS LOSE!? 🤔🤔🤔
Botemps cant stand that idiot
