Different people have different methodologies, and this individual seems to have prioritized proven production. Our guys are at a significant disadvantage when judged this way, as every thing one of our last 9 first round selections (with the exception of maybe tyty) were high upside swings. We also had what was considered the worse head coach in the NBA. The inclusion of Jaden Ivey is curious though, as Jalen, Sengun, and Tari all had better rookie seasons according to advanced stats such as BPM, VORP. Also, Ivey is a year older than green and sengun. When you compare Ivey’s rookie year to Green and Sengun’s softmore year (when they are all the same age) by BPM, VORP and RAPTOR, Green is marginally better and Sengun blows Ivey out of the water.

I don’t think they even watched Summer League games. No real mention of Thompson twins, Anthony Black, or Keynote George.
