Jaylen may not be the perfect communicator. He made some missteps last year that made people question who he was, and they were fair questions based on the context in which they arose.
But nobody can deny that he has been intent on doing good work for underserved communities from day 1, and has consistently shown up and followed through.
Celtics are lucky to have this guy both from a community perspective as well as a basketball perspective.
For all the “hE CaNt go LeFt” crowd, there is not a single available scenario right now in which we are better with him not on the team.
We are so used to these guys being dominant for years now, some of y’all truly take it for granted.
Every other team would be ecstatic to be in the position this team has been in. 2 stars who are just now beginning to enter their prime, who have been in the ECF or finals almost every single year, continually knocking on the door.
Y’all take the 5% failure and completely ignore the 95% success. That is how you fuck your shit up.
Jaylen Brown is a phenomenal basketball player who has improved every single year he’s been in the league. On top of that he genuinely cares about improving communities like where he comes from, and does the real work, again and again. And usually not on camera.
People criticize Jaylen Brown for misconceptions and preconceived notions and all he does is just go out and support the community and be a shining light.
Shame on all you mfs
Finally home…expect him to sign the deal any day now
Nice! Tell him to walk down to Causeway and demand his money.
Fuck yeah. Love seeing Jaylen in the neighborhood. So glad he’s continuing his good work. The Celtics lost a BIG part of the community when they traded Marcus.
