[Rubin] Kerr: “I feel like I failed last year in connecting the group. I have taken a lot of time this summer to think about last year, things I could have & should have done differently. I really believe that sometimes losing sort of forces you to reassess & Im excited about coming back next year”

League ain’t ready
It’s always harder to make adjustments after winning than it is after losing. We won it all in 21-22, but our roster beyond the Top 6 changed so much for 22-23 that it really wasn’t fair to think of the resulting squad as repeating Champs. We really needed to make adjustments as if we had lost. And of course the Draypoole drama changed the chemistry from that of a winner to at best a team trying to recover a winner’s chemistry.
I agree on the Losing part
2022 healed my pandemic soul
So I’m good now taking the L last year and becoming the evil empire now with cp3 and workplace violence power forward leading the way
RUN MORE PLAYS FOR ANDREW WIGGINS
Just sublime!
Good Vibes will be back I feel it
He was bad last year. I said it all the damn time. And got downvoted constantly. But at least he agrees and has admitted it.
Need him to be on coach of the year timing. And for u kerr stans, the fact that y’all even exist is insane btw, here is ur proof that he failes last year.
Awesome to see him take responsibility.
Like him or not, Kerr is a true leader.
Kerr is passive and weak.
He really is not in control of that group.
He is the puppet of the leading players.
Kerr can not control Draymond.
He even might be fearing Draymond…
Draymond has become the face, voice, identity and culture of the Warriors.
Because of the weak personality coach.
Kerr is a leader…amongst men

Hold your Vets accountable
Steve Kerr is the fuckin man
Oh dear, Kerr’s about to get heavily downvoted for criticizing Steve Kerr.
Just stop playing 2 ways over our good growing young players Steve
Yeah, definitely appreciate him accepting responsibility in a genuine way for the part he played in last seasons disappointment. I am curious what he plans to do differently. I don’t know that he grasped the significance of so publicly showing favoritism rather than merit in his coaching decisions. Most people don’t respond well to double standards, especially when they are singled out or made to be the scapegoat, while the “favorite” gets away with murder. But he’s a smart guy and the organization has enough experts that can advise him on how to hold proven and unproven players accountable without disrespecting anyone’s legacy or stunting someone’s growth. Go Warriors!
Should’ve connected more with JK.
still boggles my mind that Poole got playoff minutes over Jk.
Kerr definitely wasn’t able to get the most of any of his players not named steph or looney last season. Hopefully the team can grow together.
Honestly I’m excited about our 10 man rotation.
2022 championship starters + CP3, GP2, Moody, Kuminga, Saric
Yup. Biggest failure last year was Kerr
He failed kuminga too
I’m really happy we have Steve Kerr as our coach. Top notch coach and a top notch human.
you let draymond physically assault a colleague and didn’t suspend him. That right there sent such a clear message to the team that certain people are ‘inner circle’ and others are just outsiders. Good on Kerr for being vocally self-critical, but that was such an easy situation to not get wrong, and he shit the bed.
Draymond is a sinister presence. And Kerr fears him.
