Basically potential and the cap going up. I mean I agree, Ayo has performed to the level of a mid 1st rounder to low lottery pick compared to his draft so far. It’s a good deal for hm but it’s just a lot for someone who might get DNPs some nights unless he becomes a knock down shooter. The additions of Carter and Craig leave little minutes to go around when we’re healthy so it’ll be interesting to see how he fits next year.

Because you don’t give up on young players so soon

One of Ayo’s underrated abilities is availability. He’s only missed seven games in two years; useful to have that when guards like Caruso, LaVine and (to a lesser degree) Carter have some injury history.

He’s going to work his ass off this summer, use the late signing and other additions as motivation and become an all star. I see ayo becoming our next jimmy butler.

We need to find a way to get Pat Bev and D Rose back so we can have the ultimate “just a kid from Chicago” backcourt.

An organization wanting to keep quality players developed within is good.

They basically gave him the contract he WOULD have gotten if he was a 1st round pick. Don’t see the hate towards it, I think it’s always good to keep your drafted players

I read it it as 3 years 30 while I was playing Diablo, this is a much better deal than my lying eyes had me reacting to.

This is great. Watch out NBA, Bulls are back. 37 wins easy. Maybe 39!
