Totally agree on trying to get Miller, but it doesn't seem realistic. Portland has no reason to trade down with us. Maybe if he somehow got to 4 we could make a move. But there will be stiff competition. I'm pretty good with Hendricks or Walker, though I'm a Walker guy myself.

Get Walker or Hendricks and don’t over think it. Both will be at least above average defenders at their floors. Hendricks offers great shooting and shotblocking, while Walker gives you playmaking and defensive versatility

This year’s draft and free agency class are weak. Pacers need to make good trades and finally get rid of Turner if they want to make the playoffs. Turner play well enough to get paid with extension and then didn’t do shit the rest of the season. Pacers please get rid of Turner!
Personally I think we’ve had such a run on the playoffs – and for what? Some good game 7s for sure – but I’d like to see it but I’d like to see a core of a team come into being more cohesive. Build a team Denver style. Welcome back.

Good to hear from you Born Ready! Maybe an unpopular opinion but if the Pacers choose to stay at #7 and Ausar Thompson is available I believe he should be the pick. I just believe that he has the chance to become a superstar more than guys like Walker or Hendricks. I think the Pacers need superstar talent to compete for a championship and stay out of mediocrity. Anyway it'll be interesting to see who the Pacers draft.
Sad part pacers have no trade value to get to miller. Hendricks is coming i think, but more better trade is getting a PF veteran. This team is young. Them late picks are gone now which i can already tell pritchard just threw his hand in already. This draft is really no good

Draft Hendricks at 7and a wing at 26. The picks swap yesterday is underwhelming but it does move a first rounder to next year which can be included in a trade at a later date. The new CBA means there will be players traded as other teams, near the aprons, have to shed contracts. The wise move in FA may be to do nothing and maintain cap space for said trade.
