As a Lakers fan I felt like the western conference finals was a personal vendetta for Denver because if anyone remember back in the NBA bubble in 2020 ad ate the joker up offensively along with Dwight making it difficult for Nikola jokic offensively and defensively and Jamal Murray although he did his thing it wasn't enough plus the Lakers had better role players and bench players but this year I kept telling people this ain't Nikola jokic from 2020 this is a more matured more seasoned veteran plus he had something to prove against not just ad but the entire NBA media that was trashing him and the back to back mvps he won in 2021 and 2022 he was on the verge of having a 3peat mvp season but the media messed that up for kcp it was definitely personal with the Lakers because he was on the Lakers team that won the championship in the bubble and by the next year he was gone from the Lakers Jeff green it was definitely personal because not only did he play against lebron all those years with other teams he was also on the team with LeBron in 2018 that got swept by golden state in the NBA finals Jamal Murray it was revenge because he missed out a whole year because of a torn ACL and when he came back he was better than ever Aaron Gordon had something to prove because in Orlando he was the number 1 option but his team didn't win much and they pointed the blame on Aaron Gordon basically the entire nuggets had dealt with some kind of adversity and constantly being disrespected to the point that after game 2 I said to myself my Lakers are in serious trouble Denver was smelling blood and was going for the kill and they did eventually sweeping the Lakers and using that as motivation to beat Miami and win the 2023 NBA championship they worked their asses for it and they deserved it congrats to the Denver nuggets for being 2023 NBA champions good luck defending it
