He dropped 40 in Summer League. He can score. If he can defend, he'll be a 15-20 in real NBA action. He'll probably average a good number of steals. I like the pick.

Leonard Miller PF was who I was hoping the Pistons would take with their 2nd round pick and he ended up still being available at #33 and taken by the T-Wolves. Performed very well in G-League, kinda a developmental pick who will need a couple years before he could blossom.

I wasn't a fan of Thompson as our pick. I wanted Walker. But I've come around. I like his energy and physical talent. I told a friend what I see about his speed and pure physical talent. You guys are young but I'm going to tell you who he compares to. I'm not taking about his shooting abilities but just his speed and vertical ability. I'm not even a fan of this person but I give him respect. Go watch a young Micheal Jordan tape. I'm not saying Ausar is going to be great. I'm just comparing physical abilities, not scoring ability.
Duren can be like the young Shaq from the Orlando days.
