In the most recent installment of the Bob Ryan and Jeff Goodman Podcast, Jeff raised a fascinating question: Is Jaylen Brown going to conclude his upcoming contract with Boston?
While Bob Ryan wasn’t as suspicious of Brown’s delayed contract extension, he argued on the Bob Ryan & Jeff Goodman NBA Podcast on CLNS Media that he does believe it speaks volumes about Brown’s position in Boston.

The reason JT loves Boston more than JB is because he has no accountability. if Celtics win, JT is MVP. If Celtics lost, JB should be traded.
Jalen Brown is not worth more than Nikola Jokic, he's not worth half. And if you think he should be paid anyway then you are simply a Hollywood type fan not a Celtics type fan. Brown simply cannot be made the highest paid player. There's a good chance he won't even have a particularly good year. Pay Brown the max, destroy the franchise.
Mazulla deserved it. So disappointed theyre all in on Mazulla ball – its not Celtics ball, highly doubtful it's championship basketball and for sure will lead to complete breakup of team- first Smart, then Brown, and then Tatum. Dont understand why they kept Mazzula and traded away Smart and Grant. They should turn it all over to Sam right now but looks like theyre gonna go down w Joe for another season at least. To call Joe a poor man's D'Antoni is too kind. Way too kind. At least D'Antoni knew how to utilize a point guard
