Jared Butler was jacked up in the head in the first year of the NBA. I don't see that at all with K. George. He is embracing the challenge and loving it. That was summer league so let's see if that follows through to season play.
The fact that the numbers on the best players in the game their rookie campaign are so low, is proof this is a terrible metric to judge them on. We all expect poor shooting and growing pains. The question is if they show flashes of greatness. Nobody needs to temper anything because intelligent fans don’t think he’s an MVP candidate. They think prob rn that he’s a future star. No amount of hedging and self preservation will change that.
I can hear you! lol. Jordan Clarkson is a perfect mentor for KG in a lot of ways and I think there could be some chemistry with both on the court. We just need a top level IQ veteran to steer the ship when the younguns are in uncharted territory. I'm ready for this season, stoked.
