Bol was passive on defense and offense. He had highlights and that is it. Did not contribute to winning. The Magic is ready to win so Bol did not fit their timeline. A rebuilding team would have time to develop him.
How isn’t he impactful in winning I don’t think you watch Orlando games cause he was also a big part of a 4 game winning streak and as players came back he got spot minutes and had a bunch of huge games they also would put in the game when they are Down and he would help bring them back with in striking distance he also has a huge

Getting rid of bol bol when Victor and Chet just are starting in the league is negligence
It’s one of those things I’ve just learned to look past Sam’s defensive comments on players cause he’s kinda clueless on that end.
The one really strange thing about Bol Bol is his great shooting from 3 hasn’t translated yet in the nba. If he starts shooting like was doing prior to entering the league he’d have big time value. Still, even without the 3 ball it doesn’t take a genius to see he should be in someone’s 7 man rotation.
Chris Boucher is another one that every time I see him on the floor I’m just baffled why he isn’t starting for someone and why he settles for such a small role I’ll never understand.
