Everyone forgets the Warriors were a top 3 defensive team with KD. Imo JJ and media overreacting to the Nuggets winning saying offense wins championships now. Yes, we may never see a Pistons style champion again
he's right🤷♂️ we just saw how Miami drowned in the finals, even game 5 Denver played horrible, it was for him to go to game 6, but Miami was so bad offensively that they only scored 89 pts

I know no one ever said this before but I honestly feel this guy is the most misunderstood player in the whole NBA!
It’s so tiring to see casual basketball players (let alone NBA fans) judge a man who has reached the pinnacle of his sport. Realize you aren’t ever going to get to play KD in basketball and pay some respect.
Because 99% of the time the criticism is baseless and is rarely about the game itself. It’s about BS. He didn’t win in OKC and in Brooklyn not because he isn’t great or he came up short (rare case) it’s because of either luck or the teams not good enough.
The analytics have led to far better offenses. In particular the advent of the stretch big which has eliminated C's camping the paint. Spacing makes everyone more difficult to guard. Unfortunately, teams in the 90s didn't listen to the nerds.
Same with NFL.. Defense USED to win championships..now it's OFFENSE…

In todays nba he is correct you need atleast avg defense with high intensity offense to win and an efficient bench with atleast one dynamic scorer. Thats todays nba model because you cant really play defense like you used to. This is why teams like lakers and memphis and spurs are under achieving they have above avg defense but minimal offense and lakers offense will suffer even more with flopping focus this year which is probably another reason suns moves on from chris paul because his efficienct will further be effected since they removed the shooters kick to get to the line which hurt players offense like paul and booker and their ability to get to the line
