People keep throwing around dynasty with regards to the Thunder with no regard for history.
Look at the teams who we all would acknowledge as dynasties. Every one of them had at least one top ten player of all time on them. So unless anyone has that type of projection for anyone on the thunder, its not happening.
Here is the thing… they don’t need to do ANYTHING. Lu Dort is SGA’s best friend. He was also voted by THE PLAYERS, that he is one of the most difficult players to play against.
They may have hit on all 4 of their 2022 picks with both Williams and Chet and Ous. Ousman’s development is key to unlocking this team. If he can average 8-12pts a game off the bench, while being solid on D, this team will be scary. Most all of this team is all young guys, and all have similar interests and are in a similar point in their lives. They have a strong team bond and I’d hate to see that broken up when it doesn’t need to be.
They are gonna shock some people and I can see them being like the Kings were last season and be in that 3-5 seed in the west if one of the other teams has an injury. OKC is DEEP, and can withstand an injury easier than a lot of other teams can.
