  1. The odds of Dame going to Miami before the season begins are the same odds I want Christine Williamson out of espn: 0%

  2. I’m tired of hearing about this Portland need to trade him already they really being petty

  3. If portland didnt have scoot sharpe and simons i can unserstand, now they just doing him dirty.

  4. Facts💯 now the blazers doesn’t have to take herro but let’s not act like he can’t go somewhere else through a three or four team trade and the blazers get a total amount of 4 first round draft picks and another young player like nikola jovic and a awesome role player like Caleb Martin won’t get it done. That’s definitely enough to get if done and a very good package💯

  5. Lotta young players that recently signed deals aren’t available for trades until late July/early August including Jaime Jaquez Jr

  6. I agree w SAS, he’s earned it. Dame has given so much of his career to POR, more than anyone since KG.

  7. It's not abound him wanting to leave. It's about him only choosing 1 trade destination. Taking away all leverage

  8. Now portland wants to be serious in “building” their roster when dame asks out? Really? They don’t even need to get any elite players. The package should just have a good player (herro), decent role players/player (robinson, who was really good in the playoffs if you watched), and the only thing that they should care about, DRAFT PICKS. No team ain’t getting a great package if they will trade their superstar.

  9. SAS has to understand something NBA is a business sports. A player can say he wants to get traded to a team he wants to play for does not mean he will go there. It’s all about which team is going to be a sucker to give them more picks and players then Miami.

  10. It’s simple: Dame for the 2 available Miami first rounders, plus the OKC first rounder, the first rounder that Miami gets for shipping Herro somewhere, along with Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin, JJJ and Jovic. Add in Lowry for salary purposes, and some pick swaps…and boom, Dame is in South Beach, the Heat are a favorite to win it all this year, and maybe next. Portland gets some mediocre firsts (but some could turn into great picks) and role players. Everyone is slightly satisfied and slightly disgruntled in this trade…which means it’s a good one. Make it happen Riley. Ball is in your court, not portlands.

  11. So Stephen A wants Portland to send Lillard to Miami for a bag of marbles. Portland paid him hundreds of millions so they don't owe him anything. Include Bam or it's a no deal.

  12. He is not getting traded to Miami heats no matter what, the team organization looking for the best trade package for him. Look at Washington Wizards, got rid of the expensive contract for multiple 1st draft picks

  13. The organization has to do right for the organization and the team and the fans. What SAS is ignoring is, yes, it sets a terrible precedent, along with other players actions.

  14. Look, Dame “stayed” (In Portland) because of the MONEY! That said, I ain’t mad at’him. But this notion he could’ve “demanded a trade years ago”:is being a bit disingenuous.

  15. SAS is right about Dame put in his time, but failed to mention he should of asked for a trade before the draft and had a few teams to work with. Portland is on the hook for failing to put a team around Dame for sure. But Dame on the hook cause he just signed and Portland looks like they are in no rush (good business sense) to move him; especially for a bad deal

  16. Spurs Make A lot of Sense you have Coach Pop arguably one of best coaches in NBA History you just Got Victor Wembanyama you I think Will average 15PTS 9REB 9AST and 2BLK a Game in his Rookie Season and you have a Consistent 17 Points Scorer in Devin Vassell and the Trailblazer can easily get a Fringe All-Star Caliber Player in Keldon Johnson and all The Spurs would need is a Solid Defender that Plays Small Forward and Dame could easily win a Championship 4 year from now and Could potentially win more than One Ring

  17. Here’s what a potential trade will look like in my opinion

    Heat: Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkic

Blazers: Kyle Lowry, Spencer Dinwiddie, Nikola Jovic, Jaime Jaquez, 2024 1st Round Pick (Miami), 2025 1st Round Pick (Brooklyn owned by Phoenix), 2028 1st Round Pick (Miami) and 2030 1st Round Pick (Miami)

    Nets: Tyler Herro

So here’s my verdict on this trade, the Blazers already said they wanted 4 firsts so they get that here and they most likely wanna get rid of Nurkic’s contract so they send him to Miami along with Dame, Brooklyn could make a move for Nurkic but I don’t see that happening because they have Nic Claxton, the Blazers shouldn’t mind getting Kyle Lowry on an expiring contract rather than getting Duncan Robinson for 3 years and paying him $18 million, Nikola Jovic and Jaime Jaquez both have a lot of potential so the Blazers obviously get the young assets that they need, as far as Tyler Herro goes the Nets make the most sense because they’ve been the team that has been mentioned the most in trade rumors especially with the fact that they have a lot of expiring contracts such as Spencer Dinwiddie who they can send to Portland as well overall this in my opinion is a good deal for all teams involved

  18. Why is it when the "media" wants {insert name} to go to a different team to win a chip or play with better players it's not frowned upon? But when {insert name} does it himself it's "running from the grind" or "stacking the deck"??

  19. What people don’t realize is what this’ll do to Portland and their future, imagine you’re a star in the future and you’re actually considering Portland but then remember how their relationship between Dame, their best franchise player, ended even after all that loyalty and they still don’t grant his last request in good faith, if I remember correctly AD didn’t want to go to Boston because of how they treated Isaiah Thomas, this is a very real thing teams go through, Portland has had issues getting any star as it is, this will only doom them even further. It’s funny that a majority of NBA fans want more “loyalty” from NBA players and Dame’s been the most loyal player in the past decade, now it’s clear both sides decided to go their separate ways and the payback for loyalty? No leverage at all and the franchise just looking for itself, it’s stuff like that that will end all loyalty in the NBA from star players

  20. Miami better stop crying and start offering something the Blazers will take. They crying saying blazers won't work with them, but then are offering just Herro!!! XD!!!! Bruh, you better start throwing in more. Herro, Robinson and a easy 2-4 1st picks. Maybe even martin.
