It's easy to forget after wins like this that the Nets, in fact, are 3-7 in their last 10 games. They are undoubtedly worse without KD and Kyrie.
That being said, this roster is a star guard away from being a team opponents have to circle on their calendars, again. Ben Simmons is a huge burden on the team's salary cap and is really the last obstacle in them rising to prominence again.
Give Vaughan credit for the job he is doing. The Nets play hard. They remind me of those teams Brad Stevens coached where you had IT, Bradley, Smart and bunch of blue collar players. They were not going to blow you away with talent, but they beat you because they out worked you.
