Sometimes the entire league gets it wrong? No A LOT of times the league gets it wrong. When it's more and more players getting to become all-stars, league MVPs, and finals MVPs and they weren't even top draft picks, then the entire league is getting it wrong. Jokic, Giannis, Jimmy Butler, Kobe, Kawhi proves the entire league gets it wrong a lot of the time. There are more top lottery picks that become busts than ever before because NBA teams have no clue how to judge talent or abilities, so they rely on the hope strategy and hope the top players that get all the hype turn into something.
