“Dame still wants to go to Miami. That hasn’t changed. But there’s a lot of time before training camp starts in October. So I think Portland is going to milk this as long as they can to get the best deal they can. So hurry up and wait” – @MarcJSpears

“I talked to Aaron Goodwin today. He basically told me nothing’s new. I think what Aaron’s trying to do is continually try to find teams that can offer the best package that could potentially make this a 3, or likely could be a 4 team deal to get Dame out” – @MarcJSpears

Dame time is running on Cuban time…

Whatever. They can wait all they want but the truth is it will only make Dame even more frustrated, while Miami will remain competitve without Dame just like how r/NBA has been crying when they wanna say “heat picks are trash because they’re always good”.

This whole argument of “if Miami doesn’t get Dame, they’re fucked so time is on Blazers side” is hilarious to me as well. As if we didn’t just win the East without Tyler Herro 😂 And you’re telling me a healthy Herro can’t replace Strus and J-Rich can’t replace Gabe? They need to stop pretending like they worry about our team.

Portland is holding out to save face more than anything at this point. Teams aren’t blowing their load for a max contract player who doesn’t want to be there.

I’m not expecting anything til mid august at the earliest, not really news. dame won’t change his mind and Portland won’t find a better offer elsewhere it’ll happen when it happens til then enjoy the summer fellas.

Is there a way to get dame while keeping Herro, Jaime, and jovic? Probably but I’m jus wondering

Why are people assuming Jaime and Jovic are bangers with zero proof?

The closer this gets to training camp the less likely teams are going to be willing to jump in because teams want to fortify their roster before training camp too .People are only looking at this from dame’s side but there is a Tyler and other players side that people are ignoring .This inconveniences to players on miami’s side more than it does Dame or anybodyelse on portland’s side. This is the sucky part of the nba business .Players on miami’s side have to uproot their whole families on the drop of a dime while being unprepared for training camp with their new team .
