Kareem’s mobility is easily his most underrated trait. The guy was nimble as hell.
luvvdmycat
Kareem was the man.
Kareem is still the man. Love his written commentary on what’s happening in the world.
fuckitiroastedyou
Kareem had pretty big legs actually, seeing things from this angle. His thighs are noticeably bigger than ~~Peja’s~~ Vlade’s

It’s always interesting to see Kareem go against players and not plumbers or the milk men.

I could be wrong but that looks like Elden Campbell guarding Vlade, not Kareem

r/nba needs more of this and a lot less of “player said this about other player”.

2nd greatest player in NBA history

Kareem was one of the first athletes to make stretching a priority in his everyday life. He’s a yoga enthusiast and I believe that it played a huge role in his career longevity.
I remember reading a Sports Illustrated article in the early 2000’s, where both Eddie George and Kareem talked about their long (relative to their positions) careers, and attributing that to their yoga practice and flexibility.

Vlade had a full beard at birth.
Difficult_Arm_4762
why did even young NBA players in 80s/90s look like old mens?
thisguy161
This is wrong. Vlade was never 21. He was 35 years old his entire NBA career
Rev_Glazer
Kareem’s lower body is buuuuuufff. I thought he was a bean pole my whole life.
slimmymcnutty
When he fronted vlade, then quickly turned to be on vlade’s back that was incredible.
aoifhasoifha
Goddamn he’s so strong.

Cool footage. Crazy how mobile Kareem was at 43

How much of what Kareem is doing is even still legal in the NBA?

Which one is which?

Valde wasn’t known as a scorer though. He was a great passing big man which is a super underrated rare role in basketball.

Kareem is a colossally underrated defender.

Vlade is like Jokic 0.1
makashiII_93
7’2 and I feel like he could survive like Jokic could on the perimeter.
Jokic won a title. It can still be done. It’s a threshold for defense, not black and white.
karma_made_me_do_eet
Vlade smoked four cigarettes during this practice session.
CheesecakeMedium8500
You forget how much mass old Kareem had.
cuhman1cuhman2
Whyd I expect him to be wrinkly at 43

This video is so grainy I thought Vlade Divac was a black man
semisonic34
He actually blocked Vlade’s hook shot
Jicama-Smart
why does vlade look the same as he does now?
thebedwizard93
If Kareem had all the amenities & luxuries of todays players, he would have still been playing at a decently high level at age 43. It’s remarkable what he did in flat bottom Chuck Taylors flying Coach and eating whatever.
DumpyMcRumperson
All that contact and Vlade didn’t flop once. Crazy
peaudunk
Is he waring fuckin low tops with knee-high socks?
BugO_OEyes
Kap would of gave everybody work no matter the Era man
